New Carnival Showcase #5 - The InstaCarnival Version

Welcome to the May 7, 2006 edition of new carnival showcase. With the exception of the sentence you are reading right now, this carnival edition was written in less than 10 minutes using the new InstaCarnival function at Blog Carnival (you'll see an improved edited version shortly).

lecentre presents Mediocre Media 1 posted at Centrerion Canadian Politics, saying, "Any and all criticism of the media, particularly the ridiculously mediocre mainstream media. The whole political spectrum is welcome, from any country."

Robin Leach presents Luxe Life Bonus: Top Celebrity Posts From the Blogosphere posted at Luxe Life Vegas, saying, "The post celebrity blog posts from around the blogosphere."

cocktailchronicles presents Mixology Monday I Roundup: Pastis posted at The Cocktail Chronicles, saying, "Cocktails are an American culinary creation and cultural tradition. Mixology Monday brings together bloggers from around the world to focus on fine spirits and cocktails, with an emphasis on the creative, the culinary, the historic and the exceptional. Our first event, on April 24, attracted eight posts on pastis, the anise-flavored liqueur, with bloggers writing about everything from fine French brands to historic cocktails made with pastis to the use of anise liqueurs among the Spanish working class. Future editions will cover other flavors and spirits as participants continue to explore the world of mixology."

RightSide presents Carnival of America #2 posted at RightSide, saying, "Decided to start this just so people could get there entries out there. Anything that is pro-america is usually accepted, unless other reason exist."

MyMoneyForest presents Carnival of Business #2 posted at Mighty Bargain Hunter, saying, "The Carnival of Business was originated by MyMoneyForest."

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of new carnival showcase using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.

Submit!

We noticed this at the Carnival of the Celebrities:
Next week's assignment: Posts that are positive about celebrities. Fund-raisers. Visits to hospitals. Iraq USO tours. Submit them through Conservative Cat or Blog Carnival. I prefer the Cat because Yahoo email does not consider it spam!

Two quick tips for blog carnival hosts:

1) If blogcarnival.com email ends up in your spam folder, add the (support at blogcarnival dot com) address to your address book. Yahoo mail, hotmail, and other mail systems will then route blogcarnival mail to your inbox instead of your spam folder. Alternatively, please add us to your Safe List or Approved Sender List.

2) Stop using email to manage submissions!! With the new InstaCarnival feature, you can scoop up all the submissions for a carnival edition off a single webpage! Forget the hassle of cutting and pasting permalinks after you locate and open each submission email. Really, it's much, much faster!

And, of course, we don't really care how you submit to Carnival of the Celebrities, just make sure you submit!
